As a compact computer inspired by the traditional bento box, the first ThinkPads became an icon in the 1990s thanks to the impressive design by Richard Sapper. The ThinkPad X1 Fold is an innovative, future-oriented reinterpretation of the classic notebook or laptop computer. Elegant in appearance, the 13.3" OLED screen system folds down to a practical size of 7.2" so that it can be carried easily like a small paper book. The stylish design includes a keyboard that wirelessly charges off the system and an exclusive leather folio cover, which also serves to protect against impact. Moreover, the folio case also has an integrated kickstand and holds the active stylus which only presents itself to the user when the device is opened. This innovative form factor allows the system to be used flexibly as a tablet or laptop and even as an e-book reader.
