From the beginning, Maserati sports cars have inspired people with their sportiness and elegance adopted from racing. The design of the MC20 model focused on the optimisation of aerodynamic efficiency and the highest possible purity of form. This sports car benefits from the patented Maserati Twin Combustion engine technology, evolved from the prechamber technology used on Formula One powertrains. It is remarkably light with a kerb weight of less than 1,500 kg and features the monocoque that has been developed for the coupé, the convertible and the electric version. The aim was to achieve high bending and torsional stiffness to make the MC20 stronger, faster, safer and more dynamic. Made entirely of carbon fibre and composite materials, the chassis integrates butterfly doors that augment the haunting aesthetics of this sports car. At the same time, this door design is also highly functional, as it enables easier access to and from the cabin. Equipped with the new 630 hp V6 Nettuno engine, the  MC20 delivers acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.88 seconds and a top speed of over 326 km/h. The result of a complex development phase with over 2,000 man-hours in the wind tunnel and more than a 1,000 fluid dynamics simulations, this super sports car also sets new standards in terms of its aerodynamics.
